Praying Instruction - Hand Prayer
Prayer made easy. Let's start by looking at your hand. There are five fingers on your hand and five points of prayer. Those five are praise, thanksgiving, intercession, petition and confession. When you pray, always start with Praise. Just as you begin a greeting to a friend, we greet the Lord calling him by name and offer praise. "Lord, my God, we praise your Holy name."
The we off thanksgivings. Thanksgivings can be as simple as just a thank you, or a thank you for the day. We give thanks for anything and everything we receive frm the lord.
Intercessions - we offer prayers on behalf of others, in example, for those who have no one to pray for they, for the unborn, for our family, for our church.
Petitions - The specific request or need we ask the Lord to fulfill.
And finally, confessions, it is by confessing to the Lord all of our sins, things done and left undone that we cleanse our hearts and souls.
No matter what, pray unceasingly. Continue to have conversations with God.
