Who We Are

Group 3

The Anglican Church of the Atonement is a member of the Anglican Province of Christ the King, a nationwide body of Churches practicing Christianity in the Anglican tradition and using the Book of Common Prayer 1928 for our services.

Our Parish serves the communities of Fountain Hills, Rio Verde, Northeast Scottsdale, and North Mesa in the Phoenix Valley of the Sun in Arizona.

Built to Spread Christ's Light in Fountain Hills

A dream realized. Father Paul Goodland stated for the Fountain Hills Times on May 22, 2002 "Whatever a man does, he is dependent upon God, and he stands under God's judgement, his toil should be to the honor and glory of God and in this condition he beseeches God's blessing." The groundbreaking ceremony was celebrated May 5, 2002.

The dedication mass took place on October 25, 2003 with Bishop Frederick G. Morrison performing the service. The Anglican Church of the Atonement continues to be a little church with a big heart offereing the light of Christ to the community.
