Anglican Church of the Atonement will present “Festival of Hymns: A Meditation on the Cross” on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at 3:00 p.m.
The community is invited to gather for an hour of Christian music and meditation focused on the Cross of Jesus Christ. The program will feature beloved hymns from the Southern Gospel and tent-revival traditions, as well as Anglican hymns, offering participants an opportunity to sing, reflect and encounter the enduring message of the Cross through sacred music.
The Festival of Hymns is being held in September in connection with the Feast of the Holy Cross, a Christian observance honoring Christ’s saving death and the Cross as a sign of redemption, hope and victory.
The event will take place at Anglican Church of the Atonement, 11002 N. Saguaro Blvd., Fountain Hills, Arizona 85268.
Join us at Anglican Church of the Atonement on October 3 at 9:00 a.m. for the Blessing of the Animals prayer service. This gathering is an opportunity to give thanks to God for the animals who share our lives and for the companionship, comfort, and happiness they bring to our homes and families.
Members of the congregation, friends, neighbors, and visitors are all invited to attend and bring their pets to receive a blessing. Whether your companion has paws, feathers, fur, or scales, all animals are welcome. During the service, we will offer prayers of thanksgiving for God’s creation and ask for His blessing upon the animals entrusted to our care, as well as the people who love and care for them.
You do not need to be a member of Anglican Church of the Atonement to participate. Everyone is welcome.
For the safety and comfort of all who attend, please make sure that all animals are leashed or securely crated and remain under their caretaker’s control at all times.
We hope you’ll join us for this uplifting morning of prayer, gratitude, fellowship, and celebration of the animals who enrich our lives.
